Taste Japan | Feb - Mar

 (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Hello everyone!
Today we're going to be taking a look in the Feb - Mar edition of Taste Japan

Taste Japan are a subscription service for Japanese snacks
and I was lucky enough to win one of their boxes in a Twitter giveaway!  ♥

I posted an unboxing video for this over on my YouTube
But if you'd like to know a little more about the snacks be sure to keep reading ~

 Suppai Ume Mucho
These are Umeboshi (pickled plum) flavoured crisps
I wasn't sure what to make of these but after eating Cake crisps, nothing scares me anymore lol
and they were surprisingly lovely! I'd love to try these again some day

 Consomme Nagewa
Another crisp snack (I ain't complaining, Japan has awesome crisps)
These are Consomme/Vegetable Stock flavoured rings
They had a nice, light flavour that I think complimented their shape

 Suppa Sugiru
I'm not a big fan of sour sweets and the packaging of these filled me with fear!!
I have to admit, I've chickened out and will be sending these to a sour loving friend haha

 Goma Dango Tirol
I wasn't sure what to make of these! The packaging really threw me off
Turns out these were blocks of white chocolate but inside was a small piece of mochi
and on top of that was a layer of sesame seeds in a sweet syrup

It all sounds very strange, but I promise you, it was actually quite delicious!
I'm not usually one for crazy textures but this mix of crunchy and chewy was really nice
I never thought chocolate and sesame seeds would be such a nice combination

 Bisuko - Ichigo
When I saw these I thought it would just be 2 sandwich biscuits in the packet
But there was actually several smaller biscuits all neatly lined up
The biscuit itself was really nice and the strawberry cream was yummy!

 Maken Gumi - Grape
These gummy sweets are popular with kids as you can play "rock, paper, scissors" with them!
The gummy hand is on a longer piece of gummy to encourage you to play with your food

 Milk Coffee
I LOVE THESE THINGS!
They're wheat puffs that taste like coffee and you can totally eat them like a cereal
If you ever get the chance to try these please do so!

 Nerikan Land DIY Candy Kit
Now, to be totally honest with you... I'm kind of over candy kits
I can see why sub boxes include them, as many people out there enjoy them
But I've tried pretty much all of them now, so I'm just not as interested
To the point that I had 2 of these recently and I didn't even make anything with the candy
I just ate the bars!! Haha, so naughty

So I'm gonna send this to a friend who I'm sure will enjoy it!

Instant Miso Soup
This really took me by surprise! I've never seen instant Miso in a sub box before haha
I think it's kind of cool to add something a little more traditional like this into the boxes

So that was everything in my Taste Japan box!
A really nice mix of all kinds of flavours and products for sure
I enjoyed the Umeboshi crisps and the Dango chocolates the most~

You can get your own Taste Japan box for £15 a month here
They also offer one-time purchases as well as discounts for long term plans

I think £15 is great value for this box!
I'll definitely be checking them out again in the future ヾ(。´┏з┓`)ノ
