HAUL: Hyper Japan Goodies

 (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ HAUL TIME!
Aww yeaaahh, my favourite time of all
Here’s everything I bought when I was at Hyper Japan
If you haven’t already be sure to check out my post about the event here ♪

First, let’s start with a few freebies~

I received this Domokun tote from the NHK booth in exchange for downloading their app
Sadly I missed the chance to have my photo taken with Domo
But he is one of my all time favourite mascots, so I was very pleased

This hand towel was from the Aeon booth in exchange for a questionnaire about their brand and also Randoseru bags
I have a small obsession with hand towels and I always like to have one in my handbag
so this was something I couldn’t pass up!

These character erasers were free from a capsule machine at the Kigurumi Biz booth, they are one of the top companies for making mascot suits in Japan and even made the suit for Kumamon

I was surprised to find freebies available
I’m kind of programmed to think nothing in London is free haha

Now on to the things I purchased!
The first of which are goodies from Tofu Cute

 Gudetama gummies and chocolate eggs
Thankfully the chocolates aren’t egg flavoured!

 Cute poop pencil sharpener
I probably won’t use this for it’s actual purpose and will just keep it on display

 Animal DIY Pancake kit
I actually reviewed this over on my snack blog before deciding to merge blogs, so I’m not sure if I’ll make another post here
But it’s just so much fun that I couldn’t resist picking up another whilst I had the chance
I’m actually tempted to try and draw out an Animal Crossing character instead of following the template, but that might be a disaster!

 Gudetama Cafe Rement
I love blind boxes sooo much, but I do try avoid Rement because of how tiny they can be. Still, I couldn’t resist the thought of Gudetama food and I picked the last box on display which sadly left me with the only food I didn’t want haha. Oh well, that’s the risk with blind boxes!

One problem I have with Rement is that the pieces don’t attach to each other, they simply sit or stack and are left loose. So I might have to take some glue to this, I’m worried it will fall apart!

The last item from Tofu Cute is this crazy dessert cat keychain from their capsule machines!
It was super fun for them to have capsule machines, I really didn’t expect to see any. They had some for tiny Alpacasso plushies as well as some containing Kit Kats!
Sadly, I didn’t read my sticker before leaving to see that I could exchange the empty capsule for a cute pin bad. Sorry Tofu Cute!!
I think that’s a really neat way to recycle the capsules though, I might try and post it to them or maybe just hold on to it and return it at a future event hah, I feel wasteful keeping it!

 Gudetama Lucky Mascot Rement
I got this from the Kawaii Kollective booth, I was hoping for the Daruma but the Gourd is cool too heh. I’m still tempted to buy a whole box of these things, I honestly love them all. But I don’t need 8 Gudetama keychains…. or do I?
They had a stall jam packed with cute goodies, including a golden Gudetama plush

 Japanese Black Tea
Courtesy of Maison de Gift, who were there on behalf of charities supporting disabled people in Japan
I was given a free sample of the tea to try and it was really nice, it supposedly offer lots of health benefits and can even help prevent cancer
As a thank you for donating they also gave my an origami Shuriken heh

This little guy was the first thing I bought at the event from a booth selling lot’s of traditional items and clothing
I adore Daruma, I just think they’re wonderful. So I couldn’t resist!

IA Party a Go Go Poster
IA is one of my favourite Vocaloid adn whilst she did perform at Hyper Japan,

sadly there was not performance on the Friday
Still, there was a merchandise stall and I fell in love with the design of this poster

If you like J-pop or Vocaloid, be sure to check out IA!
My favourite song is See the Lights

LadyBaby photo set from the meet & greet booth
This was a set of 5 but I gave one of the photo’s to Rhi so she could have it signed and meet them with me ♥

But if Rhi got the photo signed, what did I get?…

 A T-shirt of course!
By the time we reached the booth there was only XL shirts left but that was fine with me because I knew I wouldn’t wear it (I’d be scared of their signatures washing off)

That’s all for my Hyper Japan haul ♥
I feel like I didn’t get a lot quantity-wise but because things were expensive,

the amount soon added up and I did spend quite a bit

I tried my best to not go in with a “but, I can get that cheaper from Amazon Japan” mentality, because it might have been true to an extent but there would have been shipping on top AND at the end of the day, shopping at Hyper Japan was just something to experience.

Can you really go to a Christmas Market event and refuse to shop?!
So no regrets from me!!

★BONUS!★
Here’s some presents I received that day from Rhi!

American candy, spoopy things, cute things
and a print from Brighton Tattoo Convention ヽ(●´з`)ノ
